Habbersett Dainty Ham – Hickory Smoked Ready to Eat

Ingredients

Cured with Water, Potassium Lactate, Salt, Modified Potato Starch, Brown Sugar, Sodium Phosphates, Sugar, Sodium Diacetate, Sodium Ascorbate, Spices, Sodium Nitrite

Safe Handling Instructions

Keep Refrigerated. Cover tightly after opening. Use within 3 days. If freezing keep frozen for no more than 3 months. Thaw under refrigeration. Use within 3 days after thawing.

Cooking Instructions

  • Preheat conventional oven to 325°F
  • Place ham on a rack inside of a deep, oven-safe cooking pan
  • Fill bottom of pan with 3-4 cups of water
  • Tightly cover ham with Aluminum foil
  • Heat ham to an internal temperature of 140°F. Approximately 15 minutes per pound
  • Discard aluminum foil and add Brown Sugar Glaze if desired. Heat for additional 30 minutes at 350°F with glaze.

Brown Sugar Glaze

Dissolve 2/3 cup brown sugar in 1/4 cup apple cider or ginger ale. Brush glaze over surface of ham.
